A portrait photograph of artist Melinda Beck

Not only is Melinda Beck a valuable graphic designer and illustrator — she’s also a bonafide animator. She has been in the graphics/multimedia industry for over 25 years. She has also worked with well-known brands such as Harvard business Review, Nike, Nikelodeon, Time Magazine, and Target. Ms. Beck has earned at least ten awards for being such an asset in the design community. She has created artwork which has been acquired by the Library of Congress as additional pieces for their permanent collection.

She has also done work for several different press agencies and popular clients. Some of these popular client names can be inherently recognized by their brand names — McDonald’s, Scholastic, Supreme, Hasbro, and GQ are just a few of biggest names she has completed work for. Just like Shephard Fairey — Another popular artist known for creating the ‘Obama Hope Poster’ — Melinda Beck had also attended the Rhode Island School of Design. Beck graduated summa cum laude, in graphic design. She currently resides in her native hometown of New York City with her two daughters. Beck is still an active artist developing world class art to this day. She also travels to different schools to share informative lectures with aspiring graphic design students.
